If you heard the news over the weekend, you are aware of the situation with Silicon Valley Bank in California and Signature Bank in New York. We want to reassure you that Wildfire Credit Union is strong, financially safe and sound. Our Net Worth Ratio is above what the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) considers to be well-capitalized.

It is also important to note that all deposits are insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA. Additionally our balance sheet, including our investment portfolio and our membership base is structured very differently from either Silicon Valley Bank or Signature Bank. We focus on diversification, unlike Silicon Valley Bank, who focused mainly on large venture capital organizations or Signature Bank that was heavily involved with crypto currency.
