Position: Member Service Representative - Full time
Job Description
- Performs a broad variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing and purchasing certificates, and assisting members with loan requests, bookkeeping and checking account problems.
- Receives and screens member walk-ins and provides referrals to Wildfire Financial Group.
- Performs miscellaneous support functions as needed by branch personnel.
- Answers member questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance duties.
- Actively cross-sells Credit Union services. Serves members promptly and professionally.
Knowledge
-
Knowledge of Member Service Representative operations and procedures.

Basic understanding of financial institution operations.
Experience
-
One to three years prior experience helpful, particularly in a financial institution setting.

Abilities generally acquired on the job.
Education
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Skills/Abilities
- Good communication skills.
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
- Good math skills.

Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment.
