Position: Member Service Representative - Full time

Job Description

  • Performs a broad variety of member services functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing and purchasing certificates, and assisting members with loan requests, bookkeeping and checking account problems.
  • Receives and screens member walk-ins and provides referrals to Wildfire Financial Group. 
  • Performs miscellaneous support functions as needed by branch personnel. 
  • Answers member questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance duties. 
  • Actively cross-sells Credit Union services. Serves members promptly and professionally.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Member Service Representative operations and  procedures.

  • Basic understanding of financial institution operations.

Experience

  • One to three years prior experience helpful, particularly in a financial institution setting.

  • Abilities generally acquired on the job.

Education

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Skills/Abilities

  • Good communication skills.
  • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
  • Good math skills.
  • Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment.
