Position: Content Writer - Full Time
Job Description
Wildfire Credit Union is seeking a talented and creative Content Writer to develop engaging, informative, and brand-aligned content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a passion for financial education, marketing, and member engagement. This role plays a key part in enhancing our brand presence, driving member engagement, and supporting business growth through compelling and strategic content.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of Credit Union products and services.
- Knowledge of sales and promotion techniques.
- Familiarity with local vendors.
- Working knowledge of the MCIF program.
Experience
- 2 or more years of experience in Content writing, copywriting, or marketing preferably in finance, banking or credit unions.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies.
- Experience managing content across social media platforms.
- Basic understanding of graphic design or video editing is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing; Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
Skills/Abilities
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to simplify financial jargon into clear, engaging, and informative content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
